About the Role

W&D Head will be leading process to drive warehouse and distribution operation, W&D cost, delivery plan, Inventory planning, return process, slow mover process and Write-off process. And work closely with Demand planning, LMDM, Commercial sales operation Dept. and ESO in Japan. Also collaborate with Sandoz International Region and STO Global for establish strong relationship. And keep good relationship internal stake holder (BU, QA&QC, R&A, CPS, Finance, and SSY site). Also lead global project.
• Track and optimize W&D processes and costs. Also reduce W&D costs for contributing companies.
• Work with necessary stakeholders to develop consensus delivery plans (BUs, SSY sites, ESOs, etc.).
• Monitor and improve W&D processes in the supply chain and NTOs to ensure sufficient orders are placed to meet demand and to ensure accountability to avoid overstocking and supply disruptions.
• When problems arise, proactively resolve them under his/her leadership.
• Ensure on-time delivery to customers and make improvements.
• Set inventory and depreciation targets based on global KPIs.
• High level of collaboration from a peer perspective (including IM region and global sites)
• Lead and optimize W&D costs, space and inventory with DP team.
• Achieve total product sales of $400M; approve custom sales tax of $20M.
• Manage inventory (warehouse inventory balance, SS levels, import timing, etc.) of approx. 600 sku (including Aspen) and maintain 99% master data accuracy.
• Manage approximately $100 million of TGT monthly inventory (including Aspen) and maintain 100% fill rate of customer packs.
• Manage write-off allowance of no more than $1 million per year.

Role Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred: MBA in Marketing or equivalent Master's degree in related engineering or pharmaceuticals
• At least 3 years of experience in managing subordinates in an organizational management position
• 5+ years of logistic and budget management experience in a foreign pharmaceutical, FMCG, OTC or medical device company
• Experience in purchasing department, external stakeholder management and global negotiations
• Experience in ABC analysis, - Knowledge of W&D management and SAP.
• Fluent in Japanese and business level English
• Enthusiasm and toughness that positivity to manage even difficult situations 

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Deliver total $400M product sales.
• Approve $20M custom consumption tax.
• Manage about 600sku(inc. Aspen)(i.e. warehouse inventory balance, SS level, import timing and etc..) and keep 99% master data accuracy.
• Control about $100M monthly inventory (inc. Aspen) under TGT and keep 100% Customer pack fill rate.
• Manage annual write off cost provision within 1mUSD
